If you’re managing a site where speed control is critical, our Speed Awareness Signs for hire are the perfect solution. At TCE Hire, we supply reliable, easy-to-use speed display signs that help reduce speeding and improve safety in real time—without the need for enforcement.
Speed Awareness Signs (also known as Speed Display Signs or Vehicle Activated Signs) use radar technology to detect and display the speed of approaching vehicles. The vehicle’s speed is shown on a bright LED screen, alerting drivers instantly if they’re exceeding the limit.
Most units will flash or change colour when a vehicle is going too fast, encouraging immediate correction. These signs are especially effective in high-risk or sensitive areas where driver attention and compliance are essential.
